Booking Information

As our experiences takes preparation time,
please do understand that we cannot take last minute bookings.

Booking times for Lunch are from 13:00 to 14:30.
Booking times for Dinner from 17:00 to 18:30.
The starting time for your event will be in consultation with a time slot of approximately 3 hours.

Wine is included in your meal.
We do not serve other alcoholic drinks at the table.
For non-alcoholic guests, we provide soft drinks.
Guests are not allowed to bring their own drinks.

Your Experience can be outside on our stoep or inside our living/dining room.

Diets, allergies, or any food-related issues will be taken care of.
Please indicate them when you secure your booking.

Getaway

When you stay in our fully catered Bed & Breakfast.
Our honesty fridge is filled with MCC, wine, gin, beer, strong liquor and refreshments.

Let us know if you would like a snack-platter on arrival.
Game drives on the farm are available in the summer season at an additional cost and on request.

Liability

A liability disclaimer must be signed during your stay.
All activities are at your own risk, and you accept all responsibility.

Children Policy

Sorry, but 'Zeelandhuys at die Huys OpiKopi' is an adult only place.
We do cater for guests from the age of 16, no children's menu will be provided.

Confirmation & Payment

Note that your booking will be confirmed only by payment.
Zeelandhuys has the right to cancel your provisional reservation if the deposit or full payment is not received on the requested date.

Cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival: 50% refund
Cancellation within 2 days prior to arrival or no show: No refund (100% charge)
Special circumstances, such as a death in the family: Full refund

Payments for the honesty bar or drinks at the dinner table are to be done before departure and can be done by credit card or cash.

Cellphone Reception, Solar Power, and WiFi

We have good free WiFi reception, but cellphone reception can be poor due to weather and load shedding.
Zeelandhuys has a solar energy backup system due to long-term load shedding in South Africa.

Water

We provide double-filtered water for your room, perfectly safe to drink.
Please avoid tap water, although it's filtered and safe.

Malaria

Zeelandhuys is located in a very low-risk malaria area.
We provide mosquito repellent in your room for a peaceful sleep.
